What happens to your data
- What we check
- Your name, date of birth and photo on your BVN or NIN record, and a short selfie video.
- Who checks it
- Any identity verification provider and its role will be confirmed before launch.
- How long
- Your ID number, name and the result: while your account is open and for 5 years after it closes. The selfie video: deleted 30 days after the check.
- Your choices
- See, download or delete your data in Privacy and data. Without the check you can still trade, but not withdraw.
Until you verify, you can add up to ₦50,000 a day and trade. Withdrawals need the check.
