How do I add money by bank transfer?

Bank transfer is free and works from any Nigerian bank, USSD or mobile money app. You send money to an account number we create for you, and it arrives in your Watch and Win balance, usually in under a minute.

Step by step

  1. Tap Add money

    You find it at the top of every page and in your Wallet.

  2. Enter the amount

    Type how much you want to add, from ₦200. Bank transfer has no fee, so the amount you send is the amount you get.

  3. Choose Bank transfer

    We show you a bank name, an account number and the account name “Watch and Win · Adaeze Okafor”. The account number works once, for 30 minutes.

  4. Copy the account number

    Tap Copy next to the account number, then open your bank app, USSD or mobile money app.

  5. Send the exact amount

    Send it from an account in your own name within the 30 minutes shown on the screen. Payments from someone else’s account are returned to them.

  6. Tap “I’ve sent the money”

    Your balance updates as soon as the bank confirms, usually in under a minute. We send you a notification when it arrives.

Add money

One account number per deposit

Use each account number once. If you want to add money again later, start a new deposit and we give you a fresh account number.

If your money has not arrived

It has been more than 30 minutes
Some banks are slow at busy times. First check that your bank app shows the transfer as successful. Then send us the session ID from your bank receipt, a 30-digit number. We check your transfer and reply within 2 hours during support hours.
The timer ran out before I sent the money
Do not send money to an expired account number. Start a new deposit to get a fresh one. If you sent the money before the timer ran out, it still reaches your balance. If you sent it later, it goes back to your bank account within 24 hours.
I sent a different amount
We add whatever arrives, as long as it is within the daily deposit limit of ₦500,000 and any limit you set yourself. Anything above a limit goes back to your bank account within 24 hours.
I paid from someone else’s account
To meet anti-money-laundering rules, money must come from an account in your own name. We return the payment to the account it came from within 24 hours. Then send it again from your own account.
