The account name doesn't match

OPay says account ••4321 belongs to OKAFOR-NWOSU ADAEZE C. The name you gave us is Adaeze Okafor.

Why we compare names

Cash goes only to an account in your own name. So if someone gets into your Watch and Win account, they can't send your earnings to their bank. Names can differ for good reasons, such as a married name or a middle name. Then your BVN can confirm the account is yours.

Confirm with your BVN

BVN

11 digits. Dial *565*0# from the phone number linked to your bank to see it.

Date of birth

Year

As on your BVN. For example 14 02 1998.

I agree that Watch and Win checks my BVN for this cash-out. We only check that the BVN name and date of birth match. We don't see your bank balance.

Check my BVN

If it matches, we send ₦1,850 to OPay ••4321 straight away. If not, nothing is sent and your earnings stay as they are.
